Sumire & TAMAI are currently one of the best couples of Asian’s new Tango generation. Since starting their partnership from 2014, they have been invited to many tango festivals and events not only Japan and also around the world. They are very enthusiastic about teaching. It is very logical and based on physical mechanics, they tell the people how to use their bodies for dance healthy and joy. Their embrace with young expression inspires many people. Sumire & TAMAI 東京日本橋のボディワーク・ダンススタジオ「studio RADA」主宰。
2014年、Sumire&TAMAIとしてタンゴダンサーとして活動開始。 コンテンポラリーダンスや芝居のバックグラウンドがあり、柔らかく表現豊かなダンスで、現代と伝統を行き来する新しい世代のタンゴとして評されている。
ダンサーとしてだけでなく、講師としても、レベルやシチュエーションに合わせた踊り方を無理のない身体理論をもとに、的確に丁寧に伝えるクラスを行なっている。
2018年、イタリア・パレルモのタンゴフェスティバルや、アジアで最大規模のイベントの１つであるJulie Music Tango Marathon 2nd にて特別出演。2019年、スペイン・イビザ島のタンゴフェスティバル出演など、活動を世界に広げている。
